_Assets — Media and Binary Files

What Goes Here
This folder is the intended home for images, PDFs, wiring diagrams, and other binary files that support vault documentation. Examples:
- Equipment photos and installation images
- Wiring diagrams and infographics
- Manufacturer PDF embeds (linked from Manufacturer-Docs wrapper notes)
Current State
The Images/ and PDFs/ folders at the vault root currently hold these files. They have not been moved yet to avoid breaking existing Obsidian embeds (e.g., ![[Images/SU5000-Installation-Instructions.pdf]]).
Migration plan: When the vault moves to a Git-backed workflow, large binary files (PDFs, high-res images) will be moved outside the Git repository and linked or embedded from an external location (e.g., cloud storage, network share, or Git LFS). At that point, the Images/ and PDFs/ folders at root will be cleaned up and this _Assets/ folder will serve as the canonical location for any vault-managed media that does live in Git (small diagrams, logos, reference images).
File Naming Convention
Use descriptive, hyphenated names. Include the product or context:

Avoid spaces in filenames.
